McDEVITT, C.J. This is an appeal from a grant of summary judgment in favor of the State of Idaho, Department of Finance (the Department) against Lawrence W. McGary (McGary). The Department alleged that McGary violated the Idaho Securities Act by offering and selling unregistered securities through an unregistered broker-dealer and by engaging in fraudulent activities in the offer and sale of the securities. The Department sought injunctive relief, which was granted by the trial court.
